Ahead of the IAAF World Championships in Berlin (15-23 August) – the Aviva Great Britain and Northern Ireland Team are at their warm weather training camp in Monte Gordo, Portugal.
While pressure is on the Jamaican team, the best athletes in the country are confident that victory is within their sights.
Defending World 400m Champion Christine Ohuruogu, is taking this time to ignore what expectations are being placed on her and focus on her goal. The 4x 400m women’s relay team are hoping it will be 3rd time lucky for them with 2 bronze medals at the previous World Championships. While David Greene is confident there is a place in the final for him.
