Kent University, Canterbury will host the KENT COUNTY JUNIOR SCHOOLS CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS on Saturday 13th March starting from 10am. The event has been organised by Kent College Junior and Infant School, Canterbury for the past 5 years with over 1300 pupils racing each year. This year they are looking to make the event even bigger. The event is open to any primary school in Kent and has races for Year 3, 4, 5 and 6.

On Track Athletics is pleased to annouce it will sponsoring the Kent Junior Country Championships being held on Saturday 14th March at Kent University Canterbury. On Track Athletics will be providing medals for the winning runners and school teams in each of the races as well a volunteers to assist with the running of the event. The 2009 championships see’s 42 schools competing in 6 races. The event starts at 10am with the Year 3 Boys, Year 3 Girls, Year 4 Boys, Year 4 Girls, Year 5 Boys, year 5 Girls, Year 6 Boys & Year 6 Girls.
