The IAAF World Indoor Championships will take place this weekend from 12 to 14 March at the breathtaking Aspire Dome in Doha, Qatar.

Kent Athlete Jack Green stormed to victory at the Aviva ENGLAND ATHLETICS Indoor age group championships at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham. Jack won the U20 mens 400m title in 48.01s.

World Champion Jessica ENNIS broke the UK Indoor 60m Hurdles Record at the Aviva International Match Glasgow in Glasgow. Jessica running as guest ran 7.95s to win her race and break the previous best of 7.96s held by Sarah Claxton who finished 4th in the same race.

Following a successful World Championships the worlds top athletes move onto Zürich for tonights Golden League meeting. Usain Bolt runs in the 100m, Lisa Dobriskey in the 1500m, Christine Ohuruogu in the 400m and many more top athletes.

23 track and field athletes are among the 61-strong team that has been selected by the British Olympic Association to represent Team GB at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Tampere, Finland from 18-25 July 2009.
