STUNNING GOLDS BY MUIR & OSKAN-CLARKE LEAD BRITAIN TO BEST EVER HAUL AT EUROPEAN INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

The final evening of action at the European Indoor Championships saw a record Great Britain & Northern Ireland team deliver spectacularly as golds from Laura Muir (coach: Andy Young, club: Dundee Hawkhill), Shelayna Oskan-Clarke (Jon Bigg, Windsor Slough Eton & Hounslow) led the way. Winning six medals on the night, the British team finished the Championships second in the medal table with a best-ever haul at the event of 12 overall (4 gold, 6 silver, 2 bronze).

SEAA Indoor Athletics Championships 2009

The 2009 South of England Indoor Athletics Championships are taking place in January. The Individual championships are on the following 3 days at Lee Valley Indoor Athletics Centre:

Sunday 11th January – Individual 400m, 300m and 800m events and Combined Events – Entries Close Tuesday 16th December

Saturday & Sunday 17th/18th January – All individual events for U15s upwards – Entries Close Tuesday 6th January
